Help ID please

Im not sure the difference between micromussa, and acans if there is any.
Any way I picked this up at the LFS about a week ago.He just got it in that morning and it was under 20k MH and it was glowing orange. I have t-5s with probably a 12k look. I got a good deal on it due to some of the die off.
I have a photo with flash and without.

acanthastrea species, IMO. if you saw micromussa, you'd know there's a difference. micros are acually very micro - small and pea sized polyps. plus my micro had a much deeper coralite than that coral ^. I have a few acanthasrea echinata that look similar, but it could def be another acan species. GL

Was $80 a good deal?

rainbow acan echinata. $80 seems high to me, I personally would place a value of $50 I look at it this way, if you like the coral enough price will not matter (Found out the hard way numerous times). How is the recession going with the coral?

Seems to be fine.
