Help ID this plant

Hey everyone! This plant has overtaken my tank and growing like weeds. It's vine-like and growing up the sides of the tank. What is it? Is it a beneficial plant? Thanks!

Thanks! I wasn't sure if it's bad for the tank or not. I guess it can be beneficial. It must've hitchhiked with some other plants I purchased online. This thing is tough to get rid of. I would remove large clumps of it every two months or so. Leave just a tiny piece and it will grow and cover the tank bottom again. I'm going to move it to the sump and try to remove all of it from the tank. Looks like it's also banned in California. Shhhh! lol
