Ok, so i do not have a qt. the LFS qt's their fish for 14 days before the sell so i figured I was cool. Well everything was fine the first day but the next it went downhill. they all seem semi happy. my yellow tang has good color and has ok eating habits. He doesnt eat a lot but he eats. The clown and damsel all eat well and have good color. The clown has a little spot on his fin and scale looking spot on his gill. Also maybe a bit red in gill area. Damsel looks fine to me. Yellow tang had the same spot that the clown had yesterday on his fin but this morning it's gone. I can't see anything on him at all but he continues to scratch. not as bad as before but he still does it. I have pictures up on flikr.

ok, so every morning when i come home (i work third) my clown is just at the top of the water right in the flow of the return water. his gills dont seem to move nor does his mouth and he still has the white scale looking white spots. the later in the day, like now he seems fine. but my YT is still flashing....

14 days is not a QT period. I would never call any fish from a store QT'd. That being said your tank probably has a parasite. Could be crypt, if the fish are dead in a day it could be velvet...Hard to tell. I could not get your picture to come up.

It looks a bit like flukes. I would do a fresh water bath to that clown. If you decide to try it,make sure to match the DT's ph and temp before doing it. If it's flukes, you should see them in the bottom of the container.
