So it doesn't look like ich to me. He has 2 identical spots bottom corners of his gills. They are 2 white spots that protrude out like an 1/8 of an inch if your looking at him from the front. He's acting normal and he's eating fine. I fresh water dipped him when I got him. What is this and what can be done.

while it could be lymph, I think it might also be flukes.

How is the fish behaving? Is it scratching or "twitching".
How old is the animal?
Did you QT him?

If its lympho, he likely will be acting and eating just fine. If it is flukes, he will be scratching, twitching and might not be accepting food.

edit:
freshwater dips are not a substitute for thorough QT practices. In the future, it will be cheaper and prevent problems like this if you QT doing both tank transfer for ich, and formalin dipping for parasites.
