Help identify these spots...

I have no clue what these are - maybe some fungal infection? If you have an idea what this is I would greatly appreciate it! They don't appear quite as white in reality and they are a little "dull" in color when viewed at an angle.

My best guess would be an infection of some sort, probably bacterial. I would treat with a broad range antibiotic like Minocycline/Erythromycin (Maracyn 1 & 2) or Nitrofurazone/Furazolidone (Furan-2).

my clownfish has some similar marks. she was getting harassed by a tail-spot blenny [now evicted].

my question is where can u find these medications? all my lfs has is melafix and pimafix. are these the same, or even adequate?

I personally don't trust Melafix/Pimafix because they're just herbs/extracts and not actual medications. Maybe they can aid a fish's natural immune system to fight off something, but I don't see how they can cure a disease on their own. That all being said, I'm by no means a fish disease expert and I know several fellow hobbyists who swear by Melafix/Pimafix.

Maracyn 1 & 2 is my weapon of choice for bacterial/fungal diseases, and I've also had some success with Furan-2. If you have one of the big LFS chains nearby (PetCo, PetSmart) they will usually carry it. Alternatively, you can buy them online here:
