Help identify worms on kitchen ceiling

Off-topic, but I figured that someone would know this. I found a couple of small 1/8 long white colored worms that are as wide as a large needle on my kitchen ceiling. I even saw their hooks in their mouths.

Any ideas what this is and how to kill them.

I just sprayed the outside of the house and inside 2 weeks ago, so I don't think what I use for ants, spiders and crickets works on these.

They may be meal worms. I had them when I had a bird and they liked to go on the ceiling.
