Help identifying stuff in my tank and live rock.

Hello,
I need some help identifying some things in my tank.
My tank is a 55 gallon, no sump, FOWLR, been up running for a year and half now (3 years in total, I took tore it down once to clean everything).
Hang On Bank protein skimmer, I used to run a hang on back refugium for Chaeto.
Livestock: Flame Angel, pair of Clownfish and a Banggai Cardinafish.
Fish are happy, but it seems to be harder and harder to keep the tank clean.
I do not want to tear the tank down to clean everything again. But I will if I need to.
I am planning on adding easy corals soon, I just bought a new light fixture. I will also add a sump. If there's no concern with my live rocks (if I don't need to throw them out or bleach them), I plan on just throwing them into the new sump and buying new dead rock for the display.
I do 10-20% water changes weekly, I just did a 40% change just now in attempt to bring nitrates down. I'm somewhere between 5-10ppm, and of course 0 ammonia and nitrite. I don't test for anything else.
I do know there are too much nutrients in my system and I think that is due to overfeeding. I'm not the only one that feeds the fish and I've advised my family members to not feed them anymore, since sometimes I feed it without knowing whether they did already or not. Since the cutback on overfeeding, I am seeing less bristleworms and tiny stars.
Please advise!

Below are the pictures that I need help identifying.
Pic 1: There are some weird brown, hairy things growing on one of my live rocks.

Pic 2: These things started to sprout since about 6 months ago? They're getting bigger now and almost look like anemones. Googling, closest thing I can find related is Pseudocorynactis caribbeorum (Corallimorph)?

Pic 3: Some green algae is starting to grow?! I've been battling cyano? The red algae stuff that grows like a carpet on the glass. I have to scrub the glass 3 times a week to prevent it from getting on the glass.

Pic 4: When I vacuum my sand, I see these things all over. I have no idea what it is, but it seems like tiny hard substances that the sand has binded to? May be related to the bristleworms? Do they shed skin or something?

Pic 5: The bottom of some live rock have this weird mucus looking layer, looks slimy, I'm afraid to touch it.

Pic 6: The deeper part of my sand bed has started to get dark, looks like some form of algae?

The hard tubes in the sand are spaghetti worms, beneficial and the litle anemone is a pest but i would keep it .

Thanks! Reading about them worried me about adding corals. Seems like people have mixed feelings about them.

Any concerns before adding coral? I have a quarantine setup and will QT for about two months. In that time I plan on addressing my display tank's algae issue; I'm thinking reduce phosphates as that may be the issue. I'm buying a phosphate tester today.
