Hello, this is my first thread on RC.
I purchased a discosoma frag this week, and there were a few pest anemones and two unidentified... things... I cannot tell if it is a type of pest anemone or a type of soft coral. I can tell you it is definitely sessile (it has moved an inch or so), and has a base like a small aiptasia. The main difference is that it's tentacles/polyps are dendritic rather than smooth like an aiptasia/majano. I am still new to the reef hobby, so I don't have a lot of guesses of what it could be. The guy at my lfs was also unsure of its identity. The only guess I currently have is that it is a tiny nephthea. I attached the best picture I could take of it.
Thanks!
