Hi guys, I just noticed this in my tank that I would like some help IDing please and some insight on what to do about it! I just noticed this very small spot of it in my tank. I have attached a picture.
It looks like the start of red grape caulerpa but a better pic and more specific location/history. Reef cleaners has a nice algea ID guide. But it is most deff some kind of algea.
It is towards the bottom of the tank, about a few inches up from the sand on the bottom of a cave opening in a 75 gallons tank. I keep the lights on for 7 hours a day and currently only have a star fish and some turbo snails in the tank as I am away at college and can't bring the tank wit me. The only change made in the past few months is I added another water pump two weeks ago to add more current. And yes, I am talking about the red bubbles
