Help is my BTA sick?

Hello, I am new to keeping anemones. I got a GBTA last week. He seemed to be doing really well. He picked a nice place on the rock and has been there since day 1. I do have an ocellaris clownfish who is IN LOVE with my GBTA and was mouthing him quite a bit that he lost a tentacle or two. My Anemone still eats fine and reacts to touch with no delay. He is just a little shriveled on the one side.
My water parameters are
temp 78
PH 8.1
ammonia 0
nirate 0
nirite 0
phosphate 0
calcium 400
specific gravity 1.025

Let me know. Thank you

his mouth is closed tight and he has not expelled anything. I was wondering if he was just hurt from the clownfish. I had him covered for 2 days with a strawberry basket so the clown couldn't bother him. I took the basket off today the clown isn't bothering the nem to much

Looks okay. Just need time to adjust to your tank. BTW how long has your tank been running? Tank need to be established in order to have better chance of keeping nem.

The tentacles seem very short to me. Is it 'sticky'?

I recommend you feed this anemone. Small pieces of raw seafood ... shrimp, scallop ... can be fresh or frozen (thawed of course). Size of the pieces should be no larger than a very small pea.

tentacle are sticky, I just tried feeding him but the clownfish stole his meal. I will try again later. My tank has been up and running 15 or 16 months now. at around the 6 month mark I got a Condy anemone (didnt know fish cant host) he did very very well in my tank so well I had to give him away.
I noticed last night my BTA mouth had opened and he pooped some brown slimy stuff, I removed that very quickly as soon as the anemone released it from its grip as of right now his mouth is closed and covered with tentacles. Should I try the starwberry basket again incase it is the clown stressing him?

thanks for any help guys

Sticky is good. I wouldn't keep the clowns from the anemone. It doesn't seem too distressed and so far everything is normal. It's probably still acclimating, I just noticed it hasn't been in the tank all that long. Let it be and see how things go. After another week or so try feeding again. Even if the clowns steal some it will also get some too.

Looks like it's still adjusting to me. Sit back and relax, more enjoying your tank, less worrying about your nem!
