My blue spot jaw got into my fuge in the back of my 29g bio, coaxed him out and he took a header onto a rock back into the tank. After a week he finally died. I questioned if he had ick knowing stress brings it out. I wasnt sure because also an emerald got a hold of him and started to eat him alive. I got him in time.
Now I noticed my yellow coral goby has spots like salt. Cant tell with my two spot goby pair and nothing on the yellow tail damsel nor the beauty angel.
I have some para guard and was going to treat with that. I have an isolation tank but I have two new fish in there as a precaution for two weeks in hypo.
I am going to put them in a storage tub, around 15 liters with bubble stone heater etc. I figured para guard for a week then hypo. I am really nervous about copper and really dont want to stress the fish out that seem fine. I doubt the yellow gobby will make it is a 1/2 in big. If I can catch him I have to tear the whole tank apart.
What do I do with my two spots?. A QT will kill them for sure. I have a separate 5gal fuge growing pods Theres sand and rock in there. If they arent infected at least they will grow fat and deplete my pods supply lol If I do put them in there should I just take them out and do an hour dip every day?
I gave them a fresh water dip and they did not do well at all I ended up putting them back into the tank.I thought Id lost them for sure. They are so delicate. They are quite today but ate mysis this morning. Just carved out a hole in the sand and they are just huddled together. Not normal for them.
Also I have a red scotter blennie and they are in the dragonette class. He is safe from itch right? I can leave him in the bio for the four weeks?
Im mostly concerned what to do about the two spots and dragonette.
Any advise please let me know. Ive never dealt with disease before.
Thanks Toni
