HELP! losing cans and Mummy eye

All Seas

I have a 90 gallon mixed reef with 2 hydra 52s running about 40 percent and a single mp40 running about 75% on reefcrest/lagoon

Things were going great for months then I got a few SPS corals so decided to up my flow with a second MP40. Let it run for a week and came back and everything is looking horrible. Mummy eye chalice is showing skeleton as is the plate coral. All Acans have some polyps but are not puffed up like they usually are and my torch is 80 percent receded.

I dialed down both powerheads to 40 percent but things were still looking bad. yesterday i took the new one offline and went back to my old single mp40 schedule/program via my apex.

Its been a day and things look like the are getting worse.

tank specs:
Livestock: Clown, firefish, long nose butterfly and potters angel (misc hermit crabs, emerald, and snails also)
coral: various LPS and SPS (frog spawn, mummy eye, acans, acro, style, montipora)
temp: 79
Alk:9
Calcium: 440
mg: 1325
ph: 7.8-8.1

any idea what to check next?

Your parameters look fine. I suspect the stronger flow caused some of your LPS to start dying. In the process they released toxins into the water which are affecting all your corals. I'd immediately start using GAC to absorb the all chemicals and toxins and then hope for the best. Others may recommend doing a couple of large WCs which would be ok but I'd still run GAC since the dying corals will continue to release toxins into the water.
