Help me design a new tank

I am hopefully going to be moving to a permanent location and have space for a large in wall tank. I think 250ish will be my target volume. I would like some input on dimensions, overflows, returns and such. I will have a fish room with a sump or two and misc. tanks (frag, softy, fuge etc).

Ok maybe this will help kick it off. What would be the preferred overflow design, I'm thinking of maybe walling off the back and putting drains behind the wall. Maybe a marineland dd would be good for this?

I would suggest an external coast 2 coast overflow with BeanAnimal's system.
for the brand of the tank maybe others will jump in and suggest, also, instead of a close-loop system maybe some Vortech powerheads (MP60's), do you have a DT dimension estimate?

For the fuge, also consider if all of the above tanks you mentioned (Frag Tank, softy and Fuge) are going to be interconnected so you can plan ahead which equipment would fit better for the total water volume.

OK I actually was pretty set on using beananimals overflow so that is good. I guess what I meant by the wall is basically the same concept as the coast to coast only instead of a box I would have a narrow chamber on the back. So lets consider the 300 gal deep dimension I don't know if I want the 36 in depth since it will be in wall but that would give me plenty of room in the back for the overflow/return wall. 72in is about right on the length as is the 27in height.

As far as the returns I am thinking about using a spray bar I currently use one on the 150 with various nozzle shapes and it allows me to pin point flow to areas that may need it. Additional flow would be by vortechs or tunze I definitely don't want a closed loop. I am thinking of having one dedicated return for the dt and one to supply all the other tanks in the system.
