There is a guy selling me a 135 gallon tank for $75 great deal but it's a 48x18x31 which is very tall in my opinion. Would you guys recommend this as a reef tank

By the tank you want not the cheapest. In the grand scheme of things the tank is the cheapest part of reefing anyway and the most important thing you want to get exactly what you want. Can you make that a reef tank? Sure. You'll need more lighting and aquascaping and reaching the bottom will be a compromise but some like taller tanks.

Just remember you probably won't be able to reach the bottom to adjust stuff and you will spend more money on better light to reach the bottom. Most things you can switch out if you don't like. The tank is the most pain in the butt

Thanks sharp...

Mine's only 19" deep, and 6' long. It comes with the sand, live rock, and a couple of corals and some fish, the stand, canopy, 3 LED light boxes, skimmer, sump, all plumbing, UPS battery backup, RO system, ph probe, temp probe, test kit, a few chemicals, some buckets, LOL, all for 625.
If you want the running gear (without the test kits, RO unit, temp probe, ph probe, chemicals, buckets, etc) so a complete running system, I'd do $450 firm. Great price to get into the hobby cheap, and it even includes a really nice chalice colony, 3g mummy eye, lots of zoas, a few shrooms, 2 acros, a millepora, and a huge gorgonian. Rock, corals, and fish alone are probably worth the 450.

Drop me a line if you're interested.
