Help me save my melanurus wrasse

I've had him right about 6 years he has survived multiple moves once just in the sand left in the bottom of a tank( we didn't know he was in there)

I got him as a teeny tiny thing 1/2" long now he's about 5 1/2" and thick. Over the past couple months one eye looked cloudy but now today both eyes look like they have white "balls" over his pupils and he was bumping into the walls of the tank and I was able to scoop him up in the net with ease. I fear he is blind is there any way to fix his eyes?

Please help me

I am not sure if it is the same thing but my juvenile Powder Blue Tang had something that looked similar over 1 eye. I started dripping Selcon into his LRS fish frenzy and it went away with a few days. Hoping for the best for you.

I feed selcon soaked food everyday

Bacterial infection is very likely. I would dose furan 2 if possible in a qt.
