I have a 45 gallon. under a 250 qwatt mh.
looking to upgrade to a tank thats 4 feet long
(I have an 8 bulb t5)

I got quotes on new oceanic tanks

90 one overflow corner, black trim, black OAK stand, overflow kit:$655

120 one overflow corner, black trim, black OAK stand, overflow kit:790

BUT I found a used 4 foot (90 gallon) AGA tank for sale in my state today for 300.00 includes stand canopy, bulkheads, stockman standpipe, return, built in fans in canopy (but probley will just buy feet for the t5)

Is 'all glass aquariums' a good brand??

Is 300.00 good for a used tank? it seems pretty nice from the pics

any help would be very appreciated. ill need to get back to them buy tom orrow afternoon

in my opinion its all really`personal expericence.
If you truly believe the asking price is reasonable for the size tank...then yes if not then no.

All glass is a nice brand of tanks. They are located out of Franklin Wisconsin and they have pretty good customer service whenver i call

As far as the new one's i would say why pay in full when you can get the same thing for a cheaper price

I believe that All Glass owns Oceanic (www.OceanicSystems.com)

I think that Oceanic is the higher line and the glass is thicker. They have a more hi-tech and aesthetic line than All Glass itself does. That isn't to say that there's anything wrong with an All Glass brand tank.

All-Glass is a good brand as far as brands go.....and yes oceanic is owened by all-glass. It's their upscale branch of tanks. As far as price, my pre-drilled 55 gallon with corner overflow retailed at 199.99 from the factory. It's a perfecto, which is usually fairly close in price to all-glass. I would say $300 may not be too bad, but you'd have to do some pricing of new tanks on your own to be sure

IMO a tank is a tank....its all glass pardon the pun. If it were me I'd put the extra money into purchasing better equiptment (skimmers, lights etc) to make the living environment better for your livestock. I don't think the fish and coral are going to know it isn't an oceanic tank.

I'd go look at the used 90. If it's in good shape then get that one.

Tanks are like cars you buy one and drive it around the block and it depreciates lol.

It may be just me But a used tank to me is scarey. If I knew the history of it and who owned it thats one thing But a leaker is a bummer for sure.
