well i caught two of the little ba**ards - one a couple weeks back after it had eaten half of a false superman i got a couple months ago (maricultured vanuatua i think??) i visually cleaned it and dipped it in seachems coral dip all seemed well - today i see one on a different plate monti and caught it with a pipet - don't see any more.
all of my corals are completely encrusted on rock and so i need a tank solution - is there one????

ahhhh!!!
*flashback!:eek1: :eek1:
a few months ago i had these little guys. i have like 15 frags of digi, and two caps, and a nosada.... all but a small piece of digi was gone.... it took me a while to figure out what it was though because they are SO SMALL!!! and they look exactly like a piece of debris or something. at least you caught it early.
i didnt use anything to treat the tank, i jsut sucked out as many as i could every night. look for any white parts, and try looking for any piece of the tinest "debris" that sticks up. jsut do that constantly. lol. also what i would do, turn off all yoru flow but one powerhead and have a turky baster in hand. just flow off all the corals and pick up anything you can that is floating around in the water after you bring the powerhead away. if you miss something, at least it wont be on the monti and hopefully will starve before it finds another. also, lowering nutrients will SEVERLY help out.

Ok its official my montis are in trouble - caught two more so i checked every monti i had and found a few more on some digi frags i had laying on the bottom and what i think where eggs
fresh water dipped followed by seachems coral dip all the frags but as i said the rest of my montis are attached colonies that can't be dipped. no sign of nudis on any of them yet but still.....
i read through what threads i could find here with little to no answers about whole tank treatments - i'm going to flatworm exit tomorrow and then do a 100% water change and rinse/powerhead blast everything in the old water unless someone has a better solution for me

I don't think flatworm exit is going to work for you. IMO, you are best off either removing manually on a regular basis, or taking each colony OUT of the tank, and dipping it every few days.

I beat them and this is how....

There isn't an "In=Tank" treatment

I removed every colony weekly and did an inspection with a magnifying glass....look for live nudi's and egg clusters....I would smoosh them with a bamboo skewer.

After visual inspection i did a Levamisole or TMPCC dip for about 20min. Rinsed and put back into the reef.

Nightly I did a "hunt" for nudi's in the reef and removed any I would find.

After a few weeks I didn't see any more.....I did this for about 2 months......and now I am nudi free! ;)
