My liverock has been fully cured and been in my tank for around 2 weeks. The tops of the rock are turning brown. I have some snails there cleaning to brown off of the rock. Does anyone know what this is. Please let me know

Its your first algea bloom congrats! It means your tank is getting better but the algae itself is awful. If the snails cant keep up you can add some more or add some hermits if you like them.

Even if your completely cycled you may still have quite a bit of diatom algae...1 common cause is phosphates probably from the water you used to fill the tank..its all good we all go through this.
You can pick some stuff up at your lfs that will get rid of the phosphates and I would recommend only using r.o. or d.i. water for you tank from now on city/well water sucks...

In my experience depending upon the type of livestock you want in your tank, nothing eats that algae up like a tang. You will be amazed! Good luck friend.

I still have the algae problem in my 30 gal tank so I will have to buy more clean up crew but it is looking much more better when I only had 4 hermit crabs and 4 snails now I have 8 crabs, 2 horseshoe crabs to sift the sand, 6 snails but I will have to buy more snails cuz the other 3 died overnight when those 3 fell from the glass when I was sleeping (I think)

Yes they do get big in the wild, but I don't think it does not grow as large as 2 feet long in the aquarium, and once they become too large, I can sell it back to the LFS
