help my new clown trigger has 1 cloudy eye

any idea what this could be guys he is just a baby and has 1 cloudy eye the other eye is fine, the other fish in the tank are also fine.

Could be a bacterial infection. Could be a fluke on the eye if only part of the eye is cloudy. Is the eye protruding/swollen or ust cloudy?

its just cloudy, but it was fine a week ago, maybe im hoping he just scratched and no other fish in the tank have it

If it is just a light cloud, I'd just wait a couple more days. Sometimes it clears on its own. But if the cloud becomes denser in the next two days, active treatment with antibiotics in QT (or HT) will be necessary. Also it could be fluke in the eye.

I always use UV in both DT and QT during periods of stocking fish. Incidents of external bacterial infection decrease by 70% or more.
