Help! My Overflow box is making noise!

Ok, I have heard of this happening before, but I forgot why it happens and how to fix it. My overflow box has just started to make a flushing toliet sound, so if you know what it is let me know!

Is there an air bubble?

If so get a piece of air line hose, thread it up to the top of the overflow box, and suck until you get salt water in your mouth. Easy fix.

hmm... I wonder, where would the air bubble be located at the top of the tube?

Ya it will be at the top, make sure the air hose goes as high as possible.

Is it a U Tube design?

No, its a continuous overflow, My mom says she was hereing a noise, and I was by the tank and I think she was talking about a flushing noise from the overflow box

put some ailine down the hose going to the sump and leave it hanging out the top.
