help!!! my overflow

I am looking at placing my sump room 15 to 20 meters from my tank.
The problem is:
I need to have my overflow drop from the tank and then travel at floor level to the sump.
Would it be better simply to have holes at the bottom of the sump or the drain pipes raise and enter the sump over the edge.
Will the flow be reduced due to the distance and the flow?
Are there any extras that I may need to keep in mind.
The pump I have is an ATK100062 10000liters of water at a head pressure of 6.2 meters, an input and output of 40mm but i will have two returns at 40mm.

either way should work. I would think you would have more flow if the return was above water level and pooring into the top of the sump vers pooring into the bottom of it. there would be alot less back pressure i would think. I'm doing the same thing (click the red house) As long as the tank is higher than the sump it should work. My Little in wall tank i have has the drain going from the tank (about 5 foot from the ground) then the pipe goes to the gruond and is run along the floor back to the top of the sump. So far it works fine.

Thanks,
Thats what I thought.
Its just like having the sump under the tank only just 15 meters further away.
Cheers fot the comments.
Good luck with your build.
The house looks cool.
My first tank, whilst a freshy, was in my bedroom too.
It was so awsome to kick back n check out my fish.
My new one is in the lounge room right next to my favourite couch.
I first saw the half cylinder aquariums n thought they were the best for between two couches against the wall.
But because of scratches i didnt want to use acrylic.
I found a local glass artist with an oven who was able to bend a max radius of 25cm over 125cm wide
so what nearlly a foot deep by 4 feet wide.
i wanted a back wall of around 155 or just over 5 feet
so iv sloped the side at a length of 55 and come out at around 160 Gallons and because of my sump room being under the roof out of the way i can make the sump a little larger so my total water volume is over 200 Gallons.
The tank will be glued by the same man who glues for Aqua Medic tanks. O yeah the front bow and the sides are made from Saphire glass 12 and 15mm 12mm is 1/2 " and 15 is 5/8"
At a total height of 60cm so a water line of 55 or 56
Next time i will build the glass at least 15cm higher than my intended water line as a splash guard.
I yet up in the air about where to place my overflow
One in the middle or two in the corners two either side of the middle, one offset like invicible569.
Ok im dreaming again
time to make up my mind and move on.
once agian thanks for the help
