i came home today and saw white spots all over their body. they are still eating and active but how do i cure them???

Hey there.

Okay y0u need to put them in a hospital tank and hypo them. Bring your salinity down SLOWLY to 1.009. And treat in there for 4-6 weeks. But do keep and eye on the fish for stress. You must now treat all the fish in your tank. So they all need to go into hypo and leave your tank fishless for 4-6 weeks and the parasite will die as it has no host.

I got rid of ich by using an oversized uv sterlizer and kent garlic extreme.

garlic and uv will not rid 100% may help contain... the fish may be strong/healthy enough to fight it off.. but it is still there...

hypo is the easiest method.. it takes time but its worth it....
