I just recently purchased a false rose anenome and it was doing average a few hours after i put it in (ie its tentacles were short, greyish green, and bright orange at the tips) this differs in that at my LFS its tentacles were fully extended and its overall size was about twice the size. I should also note that there was no damage to the foot before or after transfer, but it was not attached to a rock, only c.c. Now, a day and a half later it has moved but is attached to a rock and it is extremely small, shriveled up, and i can actually see the white of the mouth exposed. Also i have not tried to feed it yet. Possibly it was stung by something?. Any ideas would be much appreciated.

What you are talking about sounds like a normal reaction to every E. Quadricolor that is newly introduced to captivity. To help you with learning, how E. Quadricolor behaves. Please visit this link

Bubble tip anemones are very good at freaking people out, I have gone through my share of sleepless nights worrying about the darn thing every time it deflated. Usually when it deflates it is changing its internal water to help it get use to its new home. They will deflate and then go back to normal in a few hours some times longer than that. If you see brown stuff coming out of it. This means its getting rid of waste(poop). The only times you should really worry about these anemones is if and when they inflate..they appear to be smaller in size or they lose their color and start turning white. If none of this happens..relax, there is nothing to worry about.
