.. By snails! I just bought two skunk shrimp acclimated them to my tank by a accuse up put them in by a breeder cage and let them out, not even 10 minutes and I see a snail engulfing one shrimp! I knock him off and retrieve the motionless shrimp I look for the other one and he's being devoured in the other side of the tank! I couldn't snap a pick of the process but I have one of the after math and the snail. The funny thing is I have peppermint shrimps in the with no problems?

That's a nassarius snail. It will eat dead and nearly-dead things, but it can't kill live things. The shrimp were already dying (if not dead) when the snails got to them. Look into alternate causes of death.

How did you acclimate them?

This. Generally speaking Shrimps are sensitive and will Die quite easily if not acclimated properly, i usually drip acclimate mine for an hour. Either way its more than likely the shrimps died shortly after being introduced and then the nassarius's showed up and did their thing. Usually nassarius snails are the first on the scene when something dies from what i've seen.
