Help my Tyree toadstool

So my toadstool has not been looking good for the last 3 days. This morning it was bent over and is not coming out. The toadstool looks pale and is peeling. It kinda looks like it is shedding its skin. I dipped in lugol's and that has not helped. Any ideas would be great.

It's common for leathers to retract for a few days, even more than a week, if they have been irritated. They will excrete a waxy substance off of their skin, which is a way to clean themselves. Look for clues to what may be bothering it. Too little or too much flow, nearby corals could be stinging it. If you move it around the tank, give it a few days to see how it acclimates in each spot. The more you fiddle with it, the more you can stress it. As long as it's not decaying, its fine.

Yeah mine did the same thing for a while then it is ok. Just don't mess with it for a while I use to be worried but let nature take its course and he was doing fine. Right now I got some clowns hosting him at first he hated it now he doesn't mind at all. Just relax it is kinda hard to kill this coral ^^. Just do a water test make sure all your params are good
