HELP !!! need maxi jet help

I am having trouble keeping my maxi jets to stay attached to the glass. I have tried new suction cups and scraped the glass. this has not helped. Any help or suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated. HELP!!!!

i just did the maxi jet mod from mjmods.com and i too am having that problem. i am going to try to retro fet a aqua clear bracket to the maxi so i can clamp it to the tank. powerful little pumps. i have heard of people using some sort of magnet?

I have 3 mj1200's that are all stuck with just the suction cups just fine. But the 900 that I have modded I have a HOB type of hanger for it.

I read up on this in last months Reefkeeping. Pretty good idea and it would be pretty easy and cheap to do.

Do you still have the original tank trim clips? They seem to work pretty well. You have to pry them open pretty far for them to fit around the trim, but they work well.

The tank trim clip is what I have on my modded one. Like Lee said you really have to pry the sucker open to get it to hang on the lip of the tank though!
