help needed from you shallow rimless guys

Ok guys so I need some help. I've been working on the wife with letting me get a reef set up again but she wants it to be more than just a aquarium (tank, stand, and canopy). I started to show her pics of everyone's rimless tanks and she loves the idea of the volcano/basin tank as due I as we both loved growing up around tide pools. So my question is not how too set it up but how too keep my fish in this tank. My last system had only darts and wrasses in it. Others are full with Anthias. So I love the jumpers but have always had a screen top on the tank. Def don't want to ruin the appearance of the tank with a screen surrounding the rock structure.
Do you guys have any suggestion on how one could do this? The tank size will be 5 or 6 feet long 3 feet wide and between 15-24 inches high and made from glass.
2 Possible ideas I'm thinking of to help:
-Having the water lvl 2-3 inches below the top of the glass. So if glass is 24" water only goes up to 21-22" mark. Possibly lower the chance of them making it over the lip.
-Would having a 2" euro brace help. I know from watching my darts and wrasses most road the walls up when they would jump and my old euro braced tank would keep them in. Also had a screen that sat on the euro brace.

So guys I could really use some help. I want to do darts, wrasses, and Anthias. If we can't think of something we will have to ditch the idea sadly. I'd really like to try as the wife is pretty geeked about this hobby for once with this design.

What have you rimless guys done? I seen rimless tanks full of Anthias with some wrasses but never say how they do it lol. Trade secret?

System won't even start to be built for a couple months. Just mowing ideas around to do something different than just a started aquarium like I've done in the past.

Many of the systems you "see" in photographs have screen tops; however, the tops are removed for pictures.

IMO, a euro brace would certainly help. A removable screen top would be the best solution. You could just put it on when you leave your home for extended periods of time. Or you could just roll the dice. Peaceful tank mates and no electrical current leaking are two keys to preventing jumpers.

I do love a volcano tank and nearly did one myself. I still have the desire to do one someday.

Tossed that idea around too with a the removable top. Euro with a removable top seems to be the best sounding idea. The tank will be very peaceful. Mostly likely 1 or 2 tangs if any at all.

Its just a great idea and his finished look is stunning.

If anyone has any personal experience with something like this id love to hear how it went
