I am upgrading from a 150 to a 180g. I am planning on transferreing all the water, sand live rock and coral from my 150 and place it in my new tank. This is the first time I ever xferred a tank like this. What kind of cycling if any can I expect.
Also I currantly have a MH Sunpd over my 150 the wattage is 3 bulbs of 150W the tank dimensions are 6' long by about 27" tall and 17' deep. The new tank is 6'x2'x2' will these lights work or do I need to upgrade? I have all types of coral from soft to hard, including a couple of clams. I am looking to get more into the hard corals though.
