HELP new ALK problem

ok.. so i dose 2 part to get to desired ca and alk lvls...

I've just added a calk reactor that desolves about 1 cup / week into my tank inline with my osmolator.... so.. .now my alk is at 4.5meq/l!

How do I get it back down? Don't tell me im going to have to inject co2 somehow...

what do I do? I'm trying to get it down just under 3meq/l

The typical Alk range is between 2.5 and 4; I would leave it alone until it goes back to normal in a few days; just stop adding Kalk for now, and if you need to adjust Ca use Calcium Chloride instead until you get the Kalk reactor fine tuned.
