All I can tell you is based on my experience, you can't afford me unless you want to go $50/gallon, then we can talk. What I'm trying to say is it was a good winter diversion, but I don't want to do it again anytime soon.

By the way, I'm old, what does "neone tht" mean?

not really. wood tanks are a thing of the past.. or a thing of the really really large...
use epoxy paint to seal your tank.
but please.. do alot more homework.

Go to garf.org. they have a diy section that explains the process. Some people modify garfs plan to make thier tanks beefier, I dont think its necessary but you can decide that.

thnx johno4
tht was a big help i know how to make a tank but i dont want to ruine it so im asking anybody could possibly make 1 i can pay them

It may help if you post some more specs of what your looking for.

Dimensions - or approximate gallons
where your located - most people are not going to want to ship it after there done building it so you will need a local builder.
Budget - what kinda budget your working with.

You may get some more reply's if you show more info that's all.

Wood tanks are used more for very large tanks. If you look at most of the wood tank builds they are all large 600 gal.Its not worth your time if you want to do a small tank.I don't know what small means to you.Like bignick said 450 go acrylic.I just bought a 300 gal cost me $1476 96x30x24.I could have gone bigger 96x48x30 for $2300 but I didn't have the room.It would have looked stupid in my small basement. If you want a shipping quote go to freightquote.com.They can get you the best price to ship. The good thing about a wood tank is it won't break.I paid $404 (to my door) to ship my tank from Michigan to Montreal. Most others wanted $500-$800 and the tank weighs 350 pounds.

thnx guys for the info i looking for a 36x 36x 36 200 gallon tank with two viewing windows to make it a corner tank if anybody know a website for a good but reasonable price for acrylic tanks plz can u tell me the site
