help on a refugium

I was wondering if anyone knows how to put a refugium on a jbj cf quad 28gal nano? I wanted to add a 5gal or so refugium to my tank so I could have a pair of harlequin shrimp. I want to be able to put star fish down there to heal up after the shrimp feed so I don't have to keep buying them. I thought I would get 4 or 5 stars for feeders and keep changing them out to heal. LMK if you have any ideas or know a different way to do this.

Thanks

Well, it would be somewhat difficult and have a lot of complications with aesthetics or mechanically with the hood. Why don't you just get a 5 gallon tank and have it setup with saltwater. The starfish won't mind the lack of light and you can just put a little food in with water changes.

That is very true. I like that idea.

I have also read on the forums about people getting a chocolate chip star and cutting it into several chunks and putting them in the freezer.

Well the problem with the first suggestion is my wife. I don't think she will let me have anymore tanks right now:thumbdown The second suggestion might work tho. Has anyone ever kept these shrimp before?

I have. It was cool. I can't remember the name of the star fish, but everyone has them. The little ones that breed faster than pods. I was getting over ran by those, and after about 3 months, they were all just about gone. Cool little shrimp for sure.
