hey i can't figure out what is going on with my puffer the is skin as darken up on the back and it looks weird some please help here is a picture

Not sure but that looks like a severe bacterial/viral problem .. perhaps even uronema?

I would QT the fish and use antibiotics. Nitrofurazone, kanamycin, neomycin are some of the stronger antibiotics but may be harder to find. Seachem sells these antibitoics but I forget the brand/labels they use .. go to there website. Maracyn 2 is a weaker antibiotic which maybe more readily available.

Treat the fish for a minimum of 7 days. Make sure you keep ammonia zero during the QT ... the antibiotics will destroy any bio filter media so be prepared to make appropriate water changes.
