i"m looking at a 220 gallon fish tank and i need some input from some fellow reefers
the tank that was offer to me was a 7 foot by 2foot by 2 foot tank it still has water in the tank put no water movement for the last month there is roughly 400 lbs of rock in the tank comes with all the chemicals and as a huge sump a r/o system some powerheads lights are included and they are compacts and a praotien skimmer there is much more a couple pumps for the sump and overflows also
the guy said he want under a thousand for it all is
IS IT WORTH IT
if it is can i save the water to start the tank back up and would i have to cycle the tank agin been sitting for a month with no water movement and no lights
Let me know your thoughts please!!!

That size is only 210 gallons.

I would say its still a good deal considering the tank by itself is about $700-$900 new, but you can always price the equipment out online at places like marinedepot.com, championlighting.com, aquacave.com and so on and see how much you would save getting it used and then go from there.

As far the rock goes it probably needs to be re-cured (you can run water tests with a test kit and see it the water is worth saving but considering the fact its been sitting for a month) I doubt it would be but if its good then re-cure the rock by going alot of water changes and then cycle the tank and you should be in business.
