i think my blue hippo has a case of ich, i just got it 3 days ago and i think the move from the LFS to my place stressed it out a bit.

so i wanna put him in my QT but here's my question....all water levels are as good as my DT, with the exception of the salinity. my DT is .021 but the QT is .026. is it ok to go ahead and put him in there? or will that further stress him out?

i'm also planning to treat with some "Mardel" coppersafe

Salinity adjustments are pretty easy to make with water changes (unless your tank is huge). Why not take the time to make everything the same so you don't have to second guess??? Just my two cents. In fact, a lot of people have great luck with hyposalinity in qt tanks. Might look into that
