Help plz with this sea fan

It is loosing its branshes although i got another yellow one that doing good and growing ......any advice plz

What are you feeding and how often? Does the angel pick at it? This is all assuming good water quality and flow.

Is it parallel or perpendicular to the flow?

No the angel is not picking i have sps tank with zero phos and nitrates the flow is seasaw flow i feed it once a week blender mesh

Once a week will not cut it at all. Gorgonians NEED at least 12 feedings a day. Better yet a continuous feeding setup. If you are serious about keeping this animal please read up on them and feed it appropriately. It is losing branches because it is not being fed enough to keep it in good health.
