So I've decided to upgrade a few things on my 225, including a custom sump from advanced acrylics, an RLSS R10-U, and a waveline 12000 DC pump.
I would like this reboot to contain no pests and no unwanted algae. What should I do about the the corals and unwanted algae? I do have some bryopsis, hair, and dictyota. Corals will be qt'd and bayer dipped for several weeks before returning the corals to the dt. The rock work will start from fresh dried cycled rock, the tank bleached and dried. The sps will be fresh cut frags without bases. What should I do about the lower branches on lps corals? There are some white calcified feather dusters that go grow too crazy for my taste and would like those gone as well.
Thanks for the help and please chime in if you feel like I forgot something or a step.
