Help! SPS battle

I had a green slimmer fall and when I got home it was touching my green milli. The slimmer is white where it was touching the milli. Should I cut off the parts that are white, or should I just leave it alone?

Ive had many of those incidences. Just leave it make sure its in good flow. The surface could grow back depending on how burnt it got.

Leave it alone until you see algae start to grow. Then cut off what ever has algae growing on it.

I agree with Dizzyswimmer, if algae takes hold, then clip it. If it stays clean, then it should encrust over the damage.
