just get pale color. how to set that camera ??? please help me...

I believe it will be an adjustment using the white balance. However, I'm not 100% sure. Same camera and would like to know as well.

You do need to play with the white balance a bit and set it manually to get the best results. I'm not familiar, however, with how to do it on that camera. Check your manuals for the procedure.

I'll PM with an additional resource.

I already did with white balance but the coral coral what I get cannot fluorescent. too pale for me. I already set the exposure value etc.please help

what settings are you using? can you post a photo for us to look at with the settings you used.

I'm interested in this as well. I tried to do the manual white balance by sticking something white in the tank and it kept giving me an error. I also tried the coffee filter thing and that didn't work out too well either. My recommendation would be to try to tinker in photoshop with the balance and everything until you find something that looks realistic. Are you shooting RAW?

what do you mean by error?

what you do is take a picture of the white object like normal

then set the white balance to manual and select that photo, the camera will figure out what the white part is

really? on the d40? Hmm i'll have to go back and check it out, when I read the directions I think the directions were sort of in a different order. Thanks for that info, I'll give it a shot, sorry for the thread hijack, hopefully it's relevant to you too jeffry
