this one looks really like C.milliaris, but it doesn't have the black band on the tail:

TIA!

#1 looks like a full adult Halichoeres chrysus.

Color wise on the body that sure looks right, but the color and shape of the head sure look Thalassoma.....I have Thalassoma lutescens, and have had him since he was very young, but he was never that yellow, could be a really really young one.

My guess on the Butterfly would be Chaetodon guttatissimus...spots may not be dark enough though

The first picture is a Halichoeres chrysus, with a severly deformed/previously damaged mouth.

The second is Chaetodon citrinellus.

The third is Siganus javus

Is it deformed/damagd, or just old? I ask because a friend has a radiant wrasse that is HUGE, with a similar "bullnose" face.

Could be either...

Bullnose is likely from burying in the sand all those years, or atleast that's my speculative conclusion for the older Halichoeres specimens that I've seen. That particular specimen pictured doesn't look like its had a life on easy street. Shredded tail, severly pinched stomach and the nose, so who knows...
