Help w Hammer Coral ASAP!

My hammer coral had red flatworms on it so it was suggested I do a fresh water dip. I did and many of the flatworms came off and died in the bucket. Now the hammer is sliming in the tank. Is this harmful in any way to my other inhabitants (clown fish, yellow gobie, snails) Any help is appreciated. I am a relative newbie.

Im not an expert but I think that is normal after stressing most corals with a fw dip. It shouldt be a problem with your fish but try not to let the slime hit any other corals. If its loose blow it off gently and siphon it out of the tank. I dont know if this is necessary but i do it when I frag parts of my leather and it slimes up to keep toxins to a minimum. Make sure you are runnning carbon.

I am running chemipure. Should I switch off with the carbon or is chemipure OK. At one time I had both in there but I thought it might be overkill? Thanks again for helping a "Newbie"
