Help...went away and lost fish

I traveled for the past 6 days and my brother feed and kept an eye on the tank. I came back to one less red hawk fish which I had for 2 years and my skimmer over flowed back into the sump. My Amonia was at .2 and ph at 8.46.
What should I do to bring things back to normal

I'd suggest perform huge water change to export as much ammonia as possible, and hope for the best.

Sorry about your tank. Do a series of water changes over the next few days to bring things back to normal. See what else is dead in your tank, snails, fish etc and remove it ASAP. And get another tank sitter when you go away.
