I recently am seeing more and more of these cockroaches in my tank.I had 3 for the longest time, but they never spread. Now they
are popping up all over.Has anyone got a good cure to get rid of them. Some are pretty big,I think to big for a peppermint shrimp to eat.Although I don't have any pepperment shrimp in my tank.
I 've herd of joe's juice and some of the other stuff. Is there anything I can just add to water and kill them like on the lines of how flatworm exit works.I have an annenomie and allot of corals and don't want to hurt them.Thanx everyone.

pepperment shrimp worked for me. I have a pair and i had two huge ones in my tank and the ate the punks. although some say they dont do anything. i guess its luck

I had a bunch in one of my tanks. I tried injecting with vinegar but there were just too many of them. I tossed in 3 small peppermints and within 2 weeks the tank is completely free of Aiptasia.

I am constantly amazed at how unbelievably frequently this topic is posted.

Joe's Juice should spend a little more on advertising.

IMHO joes juice doesnt kill until third application... and if u have 40+ aptasia, mostly in places you cannot reach, joes is NOT an option.

Biological control methods:

Peppermints- sometimes
Copperband- most times
Threadfin Butterfly- yes but eats some corals

Use a kalk paste for the big ones and get a couple of pepps, should do the trick. Once in awhile you get a pepp that just won't eat them, but the kalk paste works wonders, you just cant do in too many at once.

Joe's has worked with one application for me. However the aiptasia was not that large. I have three peppermint shrimp that have really knocked back my aiptasia problem. I haven't had to treat one since the shrimp were added. However, one peppermint shrimp has started picking at my new frogspwan!
