Help with an Eel

So I have been going from shop to shop looking for Garden eels but it just isn't happening. Petco's and other independent stores just do not carry them. I know that the independet stores can order them for me, but it would be more expensive to do so through them. But there would probably be a better chance for the Eel to come in alive, or atleast thats what I think. I am new to this and I am yet to order fish online. What should I do? Would I be better off ordering the Eel online, if so, does anybody have a reliable website that I could purchase it off of? Or would I just be better off going to an indepent store and having them order the Eel for me?

If you are new to keeping saltwater fish, then the garden eel is not a good choice for you. Try one of the Muraenids (Morays).

Garden eels can be difficult to keep. Make sure you read up about them before you decide to purchase one. However, I agree that LiveAquaria would be a reliable website to order from.

The only problem with morays that I have is, I hear they get rather large. Actualy I know they get pretty big, 30" plus is an average size moray that I've seen so far. Also I hear they are big jumpers, I don't know if that is prevalent with all Eel species though.
