Help with attaching mushroom coral

I just bought a sweet looking mushroom but it isn't attached to anything. How can I get it to attach to a rock? I had it on one overnight but the current pulled it off and it even looked like it was trying to attach itself. Is there any way to speed up the process?

what i do is place it in a calm area with a few pieces of LR rubble or you could put a rubber band around it and the rock and let it attach
