Help with blue tang color loss

I was wondering if anyone can tell me if my blue tang is sick. It has some color loss right at the point where the tail fin meets the body.

Recently my bubble tip anemone moved into the cave where the tang sleeps and the tang didn't want to give up the spot so it slept in there with the anemone. The anemone was touching the tang constantly so is it possible that this is a sting mark from the bubble tip? The other side of the fish also has some color loss but only very little. Probably less then half of what the side pictured has.

Any help is appreciated.

Yes, that's highly possible. My saddleback clowns had the same smudgy-looking spots on them when they were acclimating to a new anemone and Bob Fenner advised that it was likely the result of that interaction. He'll probably be just fine.

My kole tang gets blotchy in the are of its scalpels when it's stressed because a new fish is added. I think it's a way to make his weaponry more visible. My memory is that it's patchier than what your tang has. I only mention it for the sake of completion and because of where the light patches are on your fish.

Thanks. The color has filled back in now, thank God. It's one of my original fish and I've had it for about 5 years so I get worried when something doesn't look right with it.
