help with blue yuma!!

Does anyone know what this yuma is doing? Is it just getting rid of waste? I got them about 2 months ago and they had brown tips, like in the second pic, and now there almost completely blue. for the past 2 days, a couple of them have had this brown stuff coming out of their mouths (1st pic), any ideas?

It gets a little long and stringy after a while yeah? What others have said before.. what goes in must come out.. its probably just waste

Looks like it's releasing waste....is feed well they should do that daily. Sweet looking yuma by the way.

Is that the only one you have that's a solid blue yuma?

Thanks. No, thats not the only one. There was @ 10 big yumas when I bought that and all have changed over the past week. I thought they were releasing waste, but I have other yumas and floridas that I have never seen do that in two years.

Mine do it shortly after (couple days) I feed them meaty foods such as mysis shrimp, so I've always assumed its waste material.

LOL... I don't know.. maybe? I think it would be too busy being disturbed by the fact that it just poo'd out of its mouth
