Help with browned out/bleached SPS???

I have a few birdsnest, monti digis and one monti cap in a 28 g. nano cube. They were all growing well, had OK color and good polyp extension for a few months. I, however, had a malfunction with my auto feeder and the tank got fed probably 6-8 times in a row right before I left on a 1 week trip and I did not have time to do a water change.

I came back and the sps were all browned out. Now (a few weeks later), some are still brown with polyps still out, some are pretty white with polys out, and some are white with no polyp extension.

Will any of these likely re-color and thrive again OR should I just plan to replace them?

How long will it likely take to get color back?

Any tips or ideas appreciated?

Get your water under control and stable and keep it there … and you may have a chance.

Browns will bounce back first, and the bleached fellas that still have polyp extension may color back up, but this will take a lot of time. Without pictures to see how bad they are its tough to say, but bleached with no PE is usually a goner.

Just get your water back in check and monitor them every couple of days … you should start seeing some changes
