Help with Cinder blocks.

I just set up a 93g cube with a custom stand in the living room. Was thinking about setting up a custom48x24x10 frag tank from advancedacrylics and was thinking of cinder blocks for the stand. Thoughts or advice on this.

I used to use cinder blocks for my 200G without issue. I recommend using them as the legs, make sure they are level, and put a flat top on. I used 2x4s running across the top with a plywood topper. Due to the length I also had a middle set of cinder blocks. Never a wobble or any concerns on strength and the holes acted as nice storage. When we moved though the tank got a new, more prominent spot, so cinder blocks could not be used. Have to take the look into account also.

thanks fillibar, the frag tank will be in a closed garage bay and will not be visible from the main house. i completely agree with you on the look
