Help with lighting for nem tank?

I am in the process of setting up an upgrade tank for my RBTA and onyx clowns. Here is what I have already.....

Oceanic cube 30g
Eshopps sump
Eheim 1250 return
2x Koralia 1's
2x Koralia nano
PM Hott1 skimmer


I am now down to just picking a light and right now I have the Orbit fixture in mind....it is the 1x250wMH + 4x24w T5s.

Is this too much lighting? Right now the nem is in a 12g with 2x70w MH and it is doing great! Only problem is that it grew to the size of the tank and my fascination with nems went through the roof.

Any opinions/suggestions would be great!

Oh, and I plan on having a few sps mounted to the back glass but not many.

That will be more then enough light. Could even get by with a 150, but you won't harm it with the 250.
