Help with MH

I have a 250 DE MH with a mag bal pendant. He is my question my light flickers when it is on. Does anyone know what the issue could be. I was talking to Norm down in c-bus and he gave me a few ideas on what it would be. I'm going to pull the bulb out and put it in again tonight after it cools down tonight to see if the bulb is falling out. I guess I need to test to see if the bal is going dead so if there is anyone out there that would let me test my light with theirs that would be awsome. It looks like I may need to also buy a new bulb to see if is the bulb something that I don't want to do but ok. If anyone has a 14k phonix bulb out there for sale please let me know. I don't care if it is used or not. I would almost actually like used since it will save me money. (I'm in college) Thanks for everyone's help in advanced.

I had a flicker in my MH dual 175's. I wired my MH to a different circuit. I noticed the washer/dryer were on the same circuit and I wasn't getting enough amps. Could be the bulb. Bulbs take a while to burn in.... or it cold be burning out.

I'm going to take a good look at it this weekend. I really don't havemuch time during the week to spend on my tank. School work comes first. I will check it all out friday.

I'm from Akron. I'm willing to put a fresh pair of eyes on it. You can test the Amps by unplugging from current plug, run a heavy duty extension cord from an alternate plug on a different breaker and give it a whirl.

Very good idea see here is the problem I live in a 100+ year old house so our outlets don't even have grounds. Also the ENTIRE upstairs that is 2 floors of = 5 guys are on one breaker and we tend to blow it well during the summer when we have our A/C's on. But it didn't happen during the summer so who knows...this weekend will tell. But I will try that out too.

So I finally figure out what the problem is with my MH. The contact on the light have gone bad. Basically my bulb can move around and fall out that is the problem. Does anyone know were I can get some new contacts?

I'd email the pendant manufacturer.

Problem solved. I called up the manufacturer and they are sending me out the parts I need today. So my light should be back up and running by Wednesday. I have my old PC light on the tank till then. $25.00 fix I'm very happy that I didn't have to pay more then that. Thanks everyone.
